Scott contacted me in the Fall of 2016 regarding his Chesterfield Twp split-level in Stonehenge Subdivision. He had tried selling a few years ago with another Realtor. After more than 90 days on the market and the home not being sold, he reluctantly pulled the home off the market and rented the home to tenants. 

After a few years of being a landlord, Scott decided the time had come to try and sell again. Having gone through a bad experience with poor results a few years ago when trying to sell, he wasn't too optimistic. In fact, I remember on our first call he mentioned he was "just hoping to get my mortgage paid off and break even".

After our initial call I was pretty confident with the right marketing approach, not only would we get the home sold relatively quickly, but we'd even put some money in Scott's pocket. Now it was time to get to work!

We immediately put our action plan in place to get buyer activity on Scott's home. Our pre-listing marketing generated dozens of potential interested buyers before the home even hit the market. When the home did go active in the MLS, we were off and running with buyer showings. 

A few weeks into the listing, we had a lot of buyers who had come through, but no offers yet. That was about to change! After scheduling an open house, and aggressively marketing it with paid advertising on Facebook and blasting it out to the 1000's of people in our database, it was game on. 

The open house was a huge success with 9 buyers coming through. Within 2 days after the open house we had 2 very good offers in hand and the home was SOLD! In less than 30 days and for 97% of the list price, Scott no longer had to worry about selling his home and the excited first time home buyer had the keys to his new house.
